As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and looking their best.
Duties:
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats - Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area - Provide excellent customer service by listening to pet owners' requests and addressing any concerns or questions - Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from pet owners - Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report them to the appropriate staff member
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a formal grooming program is preferred - Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments in a calm and gentle manner - Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when handling larger dogs If you are a groomer looking for more freedom while making more $ we would love to hear from you.
