ATI is a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. Our products support diverse markets and industries such as aerospace and defense, oil & gas, electrical energy, medical, automotive, and other industrial markets.
We are seeking entry level Electrical Engineers for our Western Pennsylvania & Eastern Ohio Facilities. Candidates would be involved in a three year rotation program among the various facilities, gaining valuable exposure to the various operations within the ATI Flat Rolled Products Business Unit.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities may include:
Supervise work and provide technical assistance to electricians, electronic technicians, and electrical contractors
Monitor equipment failures and production downtime. Follow-up and schedule necessary repairs or modifications
Management of predictive and preventative maintenance programs for motors and power distribution equipment
Troubleshoot sensors, switches, relays, PLCs, variable drives and motors, and crane controls
Make modifications to electrical systems based on reliability and production needs
Project management of equipment reliability upgrades, capital projects, and major maintenance

Electrical Engineering degree is required
Experience with MATLAB or other tools for process analysis is required
Experience with motor control centers, PLC's, static drives and power distribution is a plus
Automation System Experience/Interest with networking, databases, computer interfacing, data analytics, programming (OOP, Web, SQL), high level computer system design/control/administration is highly desired
Experience programming in C/C++/C# or other high-level programming language preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, and working from a maintenance perspective with heavy industrial equipment is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
